At the Allegan Township meeting on November 3rd, the board reviewed and discussed the advisory petition for sewer on Miner Lake and their decision was to not support the formation of a sewer district. As promised at the Fall meeting, we have submitted the Advisory Petition for Sewer. It was delivered to the township hall the week of September 15th. They will be validating and totaling the signatures over the next couple weeks. The expectation is that the results will be announced at read more »
There has been some confusion about the position of the Allegan County Health Department's position related to the need for sewer at Miner Lake as well as the options for on-site sewage treatment.
